GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DELIVERY

SOLID GOLD makes every effort to deliver all ordered items within 5 working days. When it needs to be produced the client will receive an e-mail with delivery time. However, SOLID GOLD relies on the delivery and courier services it uses. SOLID GOLD can never be held liable for the consequences of exceeding such a period and is never obligated to compensate any form of (consequential) damage.

Ownership of the items transfers to the recipient upon delivery. Upon delivery, you are obliged to check the contents of the package for any defects or imperfections within 10 working days. In case of identified defects or imperfections, you must inform SOLID GOLD of this by e-mail (info@solidgold.nl) within 10 working days.

PAYMENT (contractual interest)
Payment must be made on in the checkout of our website by Ideal or Paypal.

Delivery time is 5 working days if the product is on stock. When it needs to be produced the client will receive an e-mail with delivery time.
In the event of liquidation, bankruptcy or (provisional) suspension of payment of the counterparty, or if the application of the debt rescheduling arrangement is pronounced concerning the counterparty, or if any attachment is imposed on the counterparty, as well as in case of force majeure, all obligations of the counterparty under any agreement will become immediately due. SOLID GOLD shall then be authorized to suspend the execution of any agreement concluded with the counterparty or to dissolve that agreement.

LIABILITY

SOLID GOLD is never liable for loss of profit or goodwill or any other form of consequential damage. The products made by SOLID GOLD are unique and handmade. The dry clean only care instructions must be followed, which can be found inside the cushion. In order to claim a warranty provision, the consumer must present a purchase receipt.

FORCE MAJEURE

SOLID GOLD is not obligated to fulfil any obligation if hindered by force majeure. Force majeure includes, in addition to what is understood in the law and jurisprudence, all external causes, foreseen or unforeseen, which SOLID GOLD cannot influence.
During the duration of the force majeure situation, the obligations of SOLID GOLD are suspended. If this period lasts longer than 30 days, both parties are entitled to terminate the agreement, without any obligation to pay damages.

Force majeure also includes situations where incorrect or incomplete information has been provided to SOLID GOLD. In that case, SOLID GOLD is not liable for damages of any kind, unless this inaccuracy or incompleteness should have been known to SOLID GOLD.

RETURN OF ITEMS

Items that are damaged during transport or have a defect upon arrival despite our care can be returned to us within 10 working days after delivery. We should be informed by e-mail (info@solidgold.nl), stating the reason for the return and the order number.
Of course, the returned items should be in a new, unused condition.

If the wrong item has been ordered, this must be communicated to SOLID GOLD first. Exchanges can be made ONLY after consultation, with shipping costs being at your own expense.

These general terms and conditions apply to the SOLID GOLD website and all agreements concluded with SOLID GOLD.

These general terms and conditions also apply to orders placed (by telephone, WhatsApp, or e- mail) or via Shopify. All rights, obligations, offers, orders, and agreements to which these general conditions apply are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
